A lot of time has passed since my last post. But I still intend to have a presence of some sort. I also intend to reinvent this thing into something a bit more personal and art focused.
For most of you who started following me because you want to watch fansubs: I still intend to help finish yw shadowside fansubs. But I don’t promise that I will work on anything else. In fact, I think I am strongly leaning towards retiring from translation work. It’s been an interesting phase of my life, but I think I’ve gotten the most out of it already. It’s just not as fun as when I started. But I will finish what I started. (There’s only like…. 7 or so episodes left to be released. I’m kicking myself for that too)
For those of you who want to be my friends (d’awwww I love you too sweetheart!), I welcome you to a new phase of my life. I’ll still be an appreciator of Yo-kai Watch, but it will be a bit more low key.
I’ve found that I’ve enjoyed doing typesetting work (of the extremely advanced and technical variety) a lot more than translation. And I’ve found that doing 3D art and motion graphics to be even more enjoyable still. The thing that fuels my hobbies is fun. And passion. But fun most importantly. Without that there is no motivation. I had to be honest about that to myself first before I could be honest about that to you.
